REAM NAVAL BASE, Cambodia - Motor transport operator Cpl. Phillip J. Martinez, 22, plays sports with Cambodian students here Dec. 13 during a community outreach between the Royal Cambodian Armed Forces and U.S. sailors and Marines. Martinez, a Santa Maria, Calif., native, serves with the 11th Marine Expeitionary Unit's logistics combat element. The Camp Pendleton, Calif., unit embarked three U.S. Navy ships in San Diego Nov. 14 and arrived in Southeastern Asia Dec. 11 as part of a regularly scheduled deployment.
